Before she became serious about dancing, Alexis Perino-Boseman was a competitive figure skater. Through her off-ice training, she found a love for ballet and contemporary dance.

She decided to audition for Natomas Charter Performing and Fine Arts Academy in order to pursue her passion for dance. While Attending this school, she was able to explore many different styles of dance including tap, jazz, theater, modern, etc. Being able to study dance in school every day made Alexis want to take dance to the next level.

 

During her sophomore year of high school, Alexis decided to audition for the Impulse Dance Company which is a team that gets to compete nationally every year. Alexis has been able to take class from many popular names in the business such as Travis Wall, Meghan Sanett, Aisha Francis, Brooklyn Jai, and many more.

 

With multiple dance conventions, she has won scholarships such as the Tremaine Studio Dancer of the Year and the Establish Your Empire: Be Bold Experience Scholarship.

Currently, Alexis is going to American River College to earn her A.A. in dance while teaching and pursuing a professional career in dance and modeling.
